Samsung LCD MONITOR 943SNXPLUS

I had just bought a new monitor for use, due to a lack of monitor. All the monitors I had been using before is CRT monitor, with a very very big "body", and this, is my first "slim" LCD monitor.

Although it is not very good or professional, but it's quite economic , with 18.5 inch wide screen, 50000:1 dynamic contrast and 3 years warranty, which costs me only RM389.

To my surprise, it wasn't made in China, but made in Seremban, yea! it was made in Malaysia!

Below are some spec of it, Samsung LCD MONITOR 943SNXPLUS:

It suits me well, and it's good. Isn't it?

REBORN!!

Sorry again everybody, for not posting for a month again. It's maybe my fault, for not taking good care of my laptop.
My laptop's display malfunctioned for the past few weeks but luckily, it's still under Acer Extended Warranty.

And so, I brought it to Acer Highpoint Service, which is located at 9th floor of Times Square and I have to emphasized that "IT COST ME RM15" on transport to brought it there and took it back! Luckily, Acer changed a new mother board for me and serviced my laptop without charging a single cent after returning to base for a week. It looks new now and i like it.
Thanks Acer!
By the way, my broken adapter was also fixed, with assist of my papa's friend.$180$ saved, haha.
Since i have not posting for a month, here's some photo taken during PC fair.
Awesomeee!!ENJOY!!

I like this Wifi staff!!

Ohhhh Yes! Finally, hostel buy a new wireless access point and antenna, instead of the old, troublesome router which spoilt due to lighting, after spending about two-month-life without Internet. Just too happy to see the DWL 2100-AP and the ANT24-0700 7dBi indoor antenna.

We bought the AP and antenna at Sri Comp. in Lowyat and it cost us RM205 for the AP and RM125 for the antenna, making a total of RM330 since the salesman refused to offer us a discount, giving a reason that his supervisor was away.
The Wifi signal is now a bit better than before and I am satisfy with the performance.
AWESOME!!!

Old, Lousy Design.........

Although I love my Acer Aspire5580 very much, but nowadays I found that its AC ADAPTER is bad, totally lousy.

Same as the design of other brands of notebooks few years ago, it's old and flaw, as shown in the pic. below.

see? its output wire just bend and broke from inside and it is malfuntioning when charging the notebook. This leads lots of inconvenience to me and the most terrible is, it costs me RM180 to buy a new one and it's under only 1 year warranty although I purchased a 2-year SuperCare Extended Warranty. ~so sad~ T.T

My "advice" to everybody, if you are using an old ADAPTER just like mine, don't ever bend it and try your best to maintain it straight, or less economic, purchase a new one, with better design, as shown in the pic. below

Finally, I apologize for taking so long time to continue posting, since the exam period had just passed and also, I am quite tired, lazy. Sorry men!

32bit OS versus 64bit OS

I have been joining compur society since I am in Form1,till today it made a 6 years period joining the society. My society's activity was held every Friday and we make a presentation about IT Technology every week.

Today, we made a presentation which its title was" 32bitOS vs 64bitOS"

As we know, OS means operating system. For example, Windows Vista, XP,MAC, Linux.

So what i want to share is information of both the OS.

It's clear that Windows XP Professional x64 Edition will provide the necessary support for the 64 bit applications, but it will take another year for their appearance. Until then, those who'll chose to install this version of Windows will have to run 32-bit applications. So the next question arises: Is it worth it to install the 64-bit Windows and give up your old Windows XP? To answer this question, we have put together a test, whose main objective was to identify if the performances of the Windows x64 are better than the ones of Windows x32.

On my opinion, 64 bit OS provide a better performance than 32 bit but most drivers still support only 32bit OS. So, due to the question, which is better, my answer will always be "It depends"

Introducing Active@Undelete- Data Recovery v.7.2

Few days ago, my sister accidentally spoilt her flash drive,Cruzer micro. Thousands of valuable pictures lost due to her carelessness. Especially the picture of my parents when they went to China. I tried to solve this since everyone were so upset. I was then thought of the memory card in the camera.Unfortunately, it was also deleted and used to take other photos.

Finally, I search for data recovery software on the internet. I downloaded lot of free data-recovery software but they're all useless. The only software which I tried that could recover the deleted picture from the memory card is Active@Undelete - Data Recovery v.7.2. I would like to share this experience and software so that people who want to recover their valuable memories can try this...

Active@ UNDELETE - Data Recovery is a powerful data recovery software that helps you to recover deleted files, lost and formatted data from hard drives, floppy disks, basic and dynamic volumes, hardware or software RAID. Software supports: NTFS, FAT32, FAT16, NTFS5, NTFS+EFS file systems and works under all Windows family operating systems: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP and Windows VISTA. Besides hard disk drives program supports recovery from removable devices like Secure Digital, Compact Flash, SmartMedia, SONY Memory Stick, ZIP drives, USB Hard drives etc ...
Version 7.0.047 adds ability to save recovered files directly to CD-DVD.

Anyway, I downloaded it by torrent, faster and also cheaper.

Introducing him....

My first Notebook. Bought in 5th, August 2007 in a PC Fair held in KLCC convention hall. A brand new notebook of Acer ,Aspire 5580! With Vista Home Premium, 160gb harddisk drive, Core2Duo processor, NVIDIA Geforce 7300 TurboCache, 1gb DDR2 ,802.11 a/b/g WLAN ,bluetooth 2.0.....

Most important, it was bought with a promotion price, which costs only RM2699 (Somehow, I mean during that time, in year 07).After 1 year, I upgraded it into 3gb DDR2 for better performance.
Although it is considerd old nowaday, but I still feel lucky to have such a nice notebook, which has been working for me since 2years ago.
